Oh, holla!

Dudes, can I tell you how much I needed today? No snow, no wind, no jacket? Can I possibly express how pleasant it was to drive in the blazing sun, windows down, sunroof open? Or how awesome it was to go out with Owen for ice cream? And a trip to pet the animals at Lollypop Farm? And how we almost adopted a border collie named Frankie? Like we need a dog, right? But this is what an outrageously sunny and beautiful day will do to you.

Seriously, people. I've got all the windows in the house open!

Too bad we're getting an ICE STORM tomorrow.

You're just getting our weather a couple days later. Saturday it was 74, and yesterday it was a snowstorm.

Funny how that happens. I always look at Chicago's weather, because it always tells me what the next day will be like. I hope your weather gets better soon!

True! The forecast begs to differ, though. We're supposed to be in the 40s by now, but it's been in the 20s and lower, and snowy and cloudy and just...bluh.

wild. I guess we get your weather tomorrow. Today it started out sunny and ended sunny but midday it was cloudy and colder than I thought it would be.

Oh I would have been tempted to adopt him too. Totally adorable. Even though I'm a cat lover I'm pretty old school when it comes to my belief that a boy needs a dog for a companion.
