Ah, Easter. The only day of the year where candy before 7am is ok, and parents are allowed to dress you in the most ridiculous outfit they can find and take pictures.

I think Easter is a lot more when fun you are a kid or when you have a kid. Today has been pretty good, but not as exciting as it was when I got a basket full of fun stuff.

:) That's my parents' house! Mine is a total disaster. Owen is really into Legos now, and the house is covered in a fine film of them at any given time. :)

Adorable! And your house is always spotless whenever I see pictures of it--do you just manage to keep it looking like that, or do you make sure you vacuum and dust before the camera comes out?

Whew! I just looked in particular at those light carpets and thought, "holy crap--I don't think mine even looked that good *before* we wine-and-coffee-spilling types moved in, let alone our 50-pound black dogs and the cat who uses the carpets as a scratching post."
