Finally!

Cue the chorus of angels! First flower of the season!

In the last couple of days I washed the car, lovingly wiped down the interior until squeaky, and vacuumed every last particle of dirt from the floors. I love a clean car.
Now, if only I had motivation to clean the house.

In other springy news, Owen and I strolled around the local nursery and gawked at the plants and seeds, fantasizing about this summer's garden. Can't wait.

well if the flowers are finally sprouting up your way, then spring must certainly be here. now if only the weather would cooperate.

im ready for lighter coats like yesterday. everyone in the city is walking around confused as to what to wear.

Hopefully, right? :)

The confusion is going on here as well. I just refuse to wear my winter coat now, but I'm still freezing. Stubborn and freezing.

seeing those first little joyful buds open in early spring could make even the most hardened curmudgeon smile.

And how exotic the flower looks, too!

It's just a garden-variety (no pun intended!) crocus! :) They grow from bulbs like tulips, etc. They're always the first thing to pop up after winter!
